Where you start

Patonga or Pearl Beach

Confirm signed trackheads, fees and any fire-trail diversions on the official NPWS page. Pearl Beach and Patonga are park-adjacent villages — commercial stays are outside the park.

How to get there

  1. Woy Woy Road to Patonga. Limited public transport — check Transport NSW.
  2. Palm Beach–Hawkesbury ferry context exists for Patonga; treat as optional access, not a park ticket.

How to do it (step by step)

  1. One-way needs a pick-up. Out-and-back is the honest first visit.
  2. Sun, ticks/after-rain insects, and cliff/edge discipline on lookout spurs.

Who this walk is for

Grip shoes, water and a rain shell matter on sandstone steps — kit searches live on the gear hub, not as an Amazon wall on this walk page.

Extra tips

  • Fish and chips at Patonga is lunch, not a substitute for water on the track.
  • Pair with Warrah Lookout if you want views without the full village-to-village.
